Lisa Christensen received a bachelor's degree in music education from Michigan State University. Originally from Alpena Michigan, she moved to Ohio to attend the University of Akron where she received her masters degree in horn performance, studying with Bill Hoyt. Lisa currently plays 4th horn in the Canton Symphony, and Assistant Principal horn in the Akron Symphony. She is also pursuing a masters in music history at Akron, as well as freelancing in the Northeast Ohio area and teaching private lessons.
