BJ Bishop graduated from The University of Akron with a Bachelor's degree in music performance under the guidance of Cleveland Orchestra member Ed Zadrozny in 2005. While there, he won the very competitive Concerto Competition, open to all music students. He has since been playing in the Northeast Ohio area as a freelance musician and private lesson teacher. BJ enjoys playing Rock, Jazz and Classical music and performs regularly in musicals, weddings, jazz performances and pop shows. He has performed with The Temptations, Fabian, Bobby Rydell, Frankie Avalon, Toni Tenille, Bob Newhart, and The Rat Pack Revue.
